Bakestall is a fell in the English Lake District, it is situated seven kilometres north of Keswick in the quieter, even secluded northern sector of the national park known as ‘Back o’ Skiddaw’.

This route takes you through the scenic valley of Glenderaterra, passing Skiddaw House, and then ascending Bakestall from the north. It's a quieter route with beautiful views of the surrounding fells.
Starting from Peter House Farm, this route takes you up through the Cumbria Way, offering a direct ascent to Bakestall. The path is well-trodden and offers stunning views of the Northern Fells.
This route begins at the base of Dash Falls, following the stream up to the summit of Bakestall. It's a picturesque walk with the sound of the falls accompanying you for much of the way.
