Grey Knotts is a fell in the English Lake District. It is situated one kilometre south of the B5289 road as it crosses the Honister Pass. It is well seen from mid-Borrowdale as it rises above Seatoller.

Starting from the Honister Slate Mine, this route takes you up a well-trodden path with a steady ascent to the summit of Grey Knotts. The path is rocky in places but offers stunning views of the surrounding fells.
This circular route begins at Seathwaite and takes you up via Base Brown, continuing over Grey Knotts and descending via the Glaramara ridge. It's a longer route with some steep sections, ideal for experienced walkers.
A scenic route starting from Gatesgarth Farm, ascending Fleetwith Pike before continuing to Grey Knotts. The path is steep in parts but rewards with panoramic views of Buttermere and the surrounding peaks.
